LaCourse Rods was founded after a breaking two rods in one day on the Betsie river Steelhead fishing.

I could hear my great grandfather's voice in my head, "They don't make them like the used to."

But what if they did?

What if we made a rod you could pass down to your children, with a warranty you could believe in?

A rod that was at home on the Betsie River, catching catfish on the Grand, or slaying salmon in Kenai, Alaska?

Grandpa LaCourse didn't believe in cheap junk or compromising quality. Neither do we.
